G&S Construction, LLC(“G&S Construction,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you visit gandsconstructiontahoe.com, what we do with it, and the rights you have under California law.

1. What we collect

We collect two categories of information.

Information you give us. When you fill out a contact or project-inquiry form on this site, you provide your name, email address, phone number (if you choose to include it), and details about your project, such as location, budget range, timeline, and your message. If you call the number on the site, we receive your phone number through standard telephone records.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use standard analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. This includes pages visited, time on page, referring URL, general geographic location (city or region level), browser type, and device type. We use Google Analytics 4 for this purpose. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We do not collect financial information, payment data, or sensitive personal information through the website. Any project-related financial or personal information shared during a build is governed by your construction contract with G&S Construction, not this privacy policy.

2. How we use it

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, schedule a discovery call if you have asked for one, and follow up on questions about a potential build. Form submissions are sent to and monitored by G&S Construction (owner: Garrick Terrell).

Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand which pages help visitors find what they need and where the site can be improved. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

3. How we store and deliver form submissions

When you submit a form on this site, your submission is handled two ways so that no inquiry is lost:

• It is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our website.
• It is stored in our database, hosted by Supabase (a managed database provider), so we have a durable record of your inquiry.
• A copy is also emailed to us through Resend (a transactional email service) over an encrypted (TLS) connection, so we are notified promptly.

We retain stored submissions for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your inquiry, and to keep a reasonable business record, after which they may be deleted. Resend retains delivery logs only as long as needed to deliver and confirm the email, typically no more than 30 days.

The service providers that process data on our behalf are: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database storage), Resend (email delivery), and Google Analytics 4 (aggregate analytics). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

4. Cookies and tracking

This site uses cookies only as needed for basic site functionality and Google Analytics measurement. We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the contact form and most of the site will continue to work. Analytics data from your visit will not be collected.

5. Your California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act give you the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we have collected about you in the previous 12 months.
• Request that we delete personal information we have collected about you, subject to legal exceptions.
• Request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so this opt-out has no practical effect, but the right exists.
• Be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email garrick@gandsconstructiontahoe.comwith the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will respond within 45 days as required by law.

6. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information through this site, contact us at garrick@gandsconstructiontahoe.com and we will delete it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect information transmitted through and stored by this site, including HTTPS encryption on every page and TLS encryption for outgoing email. No transmission or storage method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be noted on the homepage or in a banner for at least 30 days following the change.
